Belles & Chimes Oakland is a women’s pinball league based in Oakland, CA.

We are part of the international Belles & Chimes network of women’s pinball leagues, founded right here in Oakland in 2013.

We are always excited for new members, and welcome players of all skill and experience levels. You can join at any point during the season – all you have to do is show up for a meeting!

The mission of Belles & Chimes is to provide a fun, social environment for women to play pinball together.

Belles & Chimes is exclusively open to women and those who identify as women. There are no requirements relating to pinball skill or playing experience. We welcome women of all levels, including total beginners!

Belles & Chimes Oakland is free to play for one meet during the season if you’d like to just try out the league. If you come to two or more meetings, we charge $10 in league dues which covers the entire season!!! Players are also responsible for the cost of games played. After each season, we have a separate open tournament for any women who wish to attend; we charge a small fee of $10 entry for this tournament, which goes towards paying for prizes.

New players trying out the league or visitors from out of town are welcome to come play at any meeting, just show up!

We alternate locations between Outer Orbit in San Francisco and Ale Industries in Oakland to accommodate women from across the Bay Area and sample a variety of the finest pinball machines! All players are welcome to all league nights. Note that Outer Orbit is 21+ on Monday nights, but minors will be permitted to play in Belles league. The Ale Industries Oakland location where we play is family friendly.

All meetings are Monday evenings at 7.30 pm for around 2 hours.

September 12th – Ale Industries, Oakland

September 19th – Outer Orbit SF

Septmeber 26th – Ale Industries, Oakland

October 3rd – Outer Orbit SF

October 10th – Ale Industries, Oakland

October 17th – Outer Orbit SF

November 5th – Finals (Location TBD)

During seasons, we get together once a week, hang out, and play a bunch of pinball! We do keep score, but the emphasis is on being social rather than competitive. We play 4 games each league night in groups of 3 or 4 people, switching up the groups for each game so that everyone can mingle and play different machines.
